Amped Out Machines programs each RFID card with its own maximum speed. The green card is set to approximately 10–15 mph for a slower ride. The black card is preset to a 35 mph maximum for an experienced, eligible rider.
Green card / easy pace
Preset to approximately 10–15 mph. Choose this card for eligible new or younger riders practicing in an open, controlled area, with supervision and the right safety gear.
Black card / experienced rider
Preset to a maximum of 35 mph. Keep this card with an experienced, eligible rider. Actual riding speed still depends on terrain, load, conditions and safe operation.
TAP. SET. RIDE SMART.
Whether the day calls for a quiet hunting-property ride or a trip around permitted race-day pits, choose the card and speed limit that fit the eligible rider and location.
Control the key cards
Keep registered RFID/NFC cards with the person responsible for the machine. Do not leave a card on a parked ATV.
Tap the right card
Use the green card for an approximately 10–15 mph maximum or the black card for a 35 mph maximum. Check the programmed setting and inspect the brake, throttle and steering before setting off.
Match the setting to the place
Ride at a speed suited to the terrain, visibility and people nearby. Follow hunting-property rules and each event’s pit-vehicle and speed rules.
ONE ELECTRIC RIDE. DIFFERENT ROUTES.
Keep the appropriate card with the responsible rider, check its programmed maximum speed and follow the rules of the place you ride.
At the track
Use a slower setting around people and equipment, where the venue allows electric pit vehicles.
On your property
Plan for the path, ground conditions and visibility before any hunting or outdoor ride.
HELP KEEP KIDS AWAY FROM AN UNLOCKED RIDE.
Controlled key-card access helps adults manage when the machine can be unlocked. We suggest the lower-speed card for eligible younger or new riders. A speed limit does not replace supervision, training or protective gear.
Secure the cards
When the ATV is parked, take the cards with you. Keep them out of children’s reach and check that the machine is off and secured.
Follow the rider requirements
The manufacturer’s recommended rider requirements are at least 16 years old and taller than 4 ft 7 in. Eligible teens and new riders should start with the lower-speed card. Wear a certified helmet and recommended protective gear, and follow the manual and local riding rules.
QUICK ANSWERS.
Does the RFID card unlock the ATV?
Yes. The manufacturer describes tapping an NFC card at the display to unlock the machine. Keep registered cards secure when the ATV is not in use.
Can one card be set to a lower speed?
Yes. Each card in the Amped Out Machines two-card setup can be programmed with its own maximum speed. The ATV will run only up to the maximum set for the card used to unlock it. The green card is set to approximately 10–15 mph.
What is the black card set to?
The black card in this Amped Out Machines setup is preset to a 35 mph maximum. It is intended for an experienced, eligible rider. Ride at a speed appropriate for the conditions and any property or venue rules.
Which card should younger riders use?
The manufacturer’s recommended rider requirements are at least 16 years old and taller than 4 ft 7 in. For younger riders who meet both requirements, we suggest the green card set to approximately 10–15 mph, along with adult supervision, training and protective gear. The lower-speed card does not make the ATV suitable for anyone below the recommended rider age or height.
Can I ride this electric mini ATV in race pits?
Ask the track or event first. Pit-vehicle policies, rider-age rules, permits, designated routes and speed limits vary by venue. See our electric race-day pit ride page for more.
Can I use it for hunting and outdoor property?
Yes, where allowed and suitable for the terrain. Plan a low-impact route, ride within your ability, and see our electric ATV hunting page for outdoor ideas.
